FAQ's

What is the difference between the original HIZE hoods and the 2021 version?

The 2021 HIZE hoods are slightly wider than the original version, allowing for a more comfortable riding position for riders of all sizes.

What are the materials used to make HIZE hoods?

The parts are made out of PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), a recycled and recyclable plastic. The materials are all sourced in the USA as well.

How are the HIZE hoods made?

The HIZE hoods use a manufacturing process called FDM 3D Printing (Fused Deposition Modeling) which is effectively a computer-controlled hot glue gun that applies hot plastic at over 200C in 0.2mm layers.
